She started a school “SONE SAKEMI Ladies Beauty Academy” in Tokyo in 1997.
She established and produced 5 brands as a “KIMONO” designer in Kyoto from 1981.
In 1989, she moved to New York and founded “AKEMI STUDIO”.
She made her debut at New York collection in 1990. She exhibited the collection with Donna Karan and Calvin Klein as an only Japanese designer at the first day of New York fashion week, started in 1992.
Also she held world-class collections at the Chamber of the House of Councilors of United Nations and Rockefeller Center. Through these activities, she established her position as a fashion leader of the world. Many celebrities such as Placido Domingo and Michel Jackson, and also super models like Yasmin, give their support to her.
“N-Y-B-S”, she opened at Fifth Avenue in 1996, is a school where students can learn total beauty and more than 5,000 graduates from the school are active as beauty artists all over the world.
After great efforts for 25 years in New York, she returned her business base to Japan this year. She is active as a total beauty creator in various areas.

As a visual director of Hakuhodo Advertising America Inc., I conclude a consultant license and I total a new product of Tsumura International, a design, a plan, image graphic, a production and produce it.
