What is the New York Collection fashion designer’s original method?
My work in New York for 25 years was to create clothes for New York Collection. And I ran the school of the creator of the total beauty in 5th street of New York. I received a question why a fashion designer was engaged in beauty a lot from those days. But in fact, I noticed once. For the woman, the most necessary image of beauty is the face not the clothes. It does not matter the age, nationality and race.
I design each face the same as making clothes. I make the proportion of the original face look more beautiful and revise a face balance. And to make feel of a material of skin better I change an inferiority complex into a good point.
By my face design I sharpen a face and drop it by the balance of a shadow and highlight and I put a shadow and make a solid. I finish it to totally give a sculpture. I perform it like the toile check of the haute couture.
